Log-in to the control panel |
|
Select "DSN Handling" icon |
|
Click on "Create DSN" |
|
You can create DSN for: |

| Microsoft Text Driver (*.txt, *.csv) |
| Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls) |
| Microsoft dbase Driver (8.dbf) |

| How to Create DSN on Microsoft Access |
|
Choose DSN Type: Choose Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) |
|
Enter DSN Name: Type DSN name that you want to use |
|
Enter DSN UID: Enter UserID for the DSN |
|
Enter DSN PWD: Enter Password for the DSN |
|
Enter DSN DBQ: Enter the physical file name of your database or enter absolute physical path of your database file ( if you have uploaded the file in any other folder other then "DB" folder)
Note: For Convenience it is better to upload yout database under DB folder. |

This will create your DSN. |

| How to Manage DSN |
|
After Creating the DSN, you get the authority to modify or delete it as per your requirement. You cannot modify DSN Name. |
|
Log-in to the control panel |
|
Select "DSN Handling" icon |
|
It will provide you with a screen with DSN list and options to modify and select them. |
|
Choose the DSN you want to modify and click " Modify" and " delete" button respectively as per your requirement. |
